Me: There were nights when the wind was SO cold! There were days when the sun was SO cruel!
Kelly: blah blah blah blah BLAH.
Me: When you touch me like this.
Kelly: It was gone in a milisecond but it's all coming back to me.
Me: There were nights of endless pleasure.
Kelly: Why write a love song about something so insignificant?
Me: Insignificant? EndLESS pleasure insignificant? Kelly, it was more than any laws allow.
Kelly: What laws? In the middle east maybe. I guarantee celine dion isn't breaking ANY laws in her bedroom, except maybe the laws of nature with that crypt keeper.
Welcome to my homepage. I am a PhD candidate in bioinformatics at the University of Michigan. I study metabolic syndrome and obesity in the laboratory of Dr. Charles Burant. My dissertation research includes the development of a whole-cell model of the metabolism of E. coli. Please see my CV for more information about my research and education.
Next to science, my passion is music. I sing, play upright bass and old-time fiddle music. I love American roots music, and particularly the music from the American Civil War.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my research or my music or current events or you just want to say hi.
