Nathan: would you say on average that you puke 10 times a week
Me: No, just when I have migraines and eat Grape Nuts apparently
Me: and when I stick my finger in my throat after a big meal
Nathan: well i have noticed a pattern
Me: haha
Nathan: you have a central tendency, a correlation if you will, with a dependent variable of vitamins and grape nuts, and the quantity of said material consumed changing the effect size and distribution of the puke, and empirical exploratory data analysis confirms that you puke a ton, normally i'd find the normal mean distribution, in this instance i will go gaussian, and suggest you go to the clinic to get a nonparametric test
Welcome to my homepage. I am a PhD candidate in bioinformatics at the University of Michigan. I study metabolic syndrome and obesity in the laboratory of Dr. Charles Burant. My dissertation research includes the development of a whole-cell model of the metabolism of E. coli. Please see my CV for more information about my research and education.
Next to science, my passion is music. I sing, play upright bass and old-time fiddle music. I love American roots music, and particularly the music from the American Civil War.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my research or my music or current events or you just want to say hi.
